Tithe & Offerings

God asks us to return a tithe — 10 percent of our income. To do so recognizes Him as the owner of all creation. This is not a financial transaction but an expression of faith and a matter of simple honesty. Tithe is used to spread the gospel. In addition, our offerings support activities in our local church as well as various outreach by regional, national, and worldwide divisions of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Give your tithes and offerings online here.

Community Food Donations

Olney Help has been providing food and financial assistance to local Olney, Maryland, area families since 1969. They are very grateful to our church and school for our ongoing generous donations of food and gift cards to their pantry. Ruth Filbert, Director, Food Services at Olney Help says, “A 39% increase in requests for food assistance this year has made your donation more important than ever, and we are beyond grateful for your continued support and generous contributions to Olney Help.” Let us continue to help families in need in our community.

Remember to pick up some non-perishables (cereal, cans, rice, pasta, jellies, pancake mix, etc.) whenever you go grocery shopping. A list of most needed items is on the Olney Help website and you can also order items from their wish list on Amazon. Drop your donations off in the bin in the church foyer on Saturdays or the bin in the OAPS school foyer during the week or on Sundays during pickleball. You can also bring grocery gift cards (Giant, Safeway, Harris Teeter) for any amount or cash and drop them in the donation boxes.
